Moonbeam at Grangetown

Take your first steps onto the moon!

Moonbeam has been lovingly designed for children aged 0-7 and their grown-ups to play in together and discover all about the magic of a trip to the moon!

This special creative play installation made it’s debut at Theatre Hullabaloo’s venue in Darlington, The Hullabaloo. It’s now time for it to take over Grangetown Family Hub for the summer!

Will you leap, bounce or dance around? Explore the craters, some soft, some bouncy, some full of surprises! Investigate the inside of a red rocket – there’s lots of buttons to touch! Count the stars, catch one if you’re lucky…they have stories to tell and will unfurl a tale to those who listen. Put on a moon jacket with pockets galore – perfect for collecting treasures! Snuggle up and read some books – plus much more!

Moonbeam is open Mon, Tue and Wed, 10am-2pm. During busy periods there might be a short wait to enter the play area and playtime might be limited to 30 mins.

This a free, drop-in activity.
