An accessible and fun adventure of discovery using songs, games and tasks to explore the mysterious South Park in Darlington.
Musical Adventures is a Theatre Hullabaloo Little Wonders commission for Hullabaloo in the Park.
Armed with a musical treasure map, the smallest of children can explore the park in a musical, hide-and-seek journey, with a little help from their grownups.
This creative trail experience will encourage young children to discover the park and the hidden spaces within. Children will use all of their senses to explore the space, guided by original songs that will give them clues, instructions and inspiration. You can then share the finds and treasures from your adventures with us all online!

About Bridie Jackson and Carol Bowden
Bridie and Carol met in 2007 whilst working as musicians and project coordinators at Sage Gateshead, instantly hit it off, and haven’t stopped collaborating since. This has included running a variety of music projects in schools and nurseries across the North East and performing together in Bridie Jackson and the Arbour, a multi award-winning folk quartet from Newcastle, who gained national recognition when they were chosen from 8,000 other bands across the country to win the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Contest.
The band released two studio albums, gaining widespread acclaim, and received radio play on BBC 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 Music. The pair have toured extensively together, travelling in a van and sleeping in cheap hotels, and have performed at a variety of festivals in the UK and abroad, including Glastonbury Festival in the UK and Noorderzon in the Netherlands.
