We're continuing our mission for all children to have access to high quality creative experiences. We now operate creative play installations, activities and our Play on Prescription programme across the Tees Valley, for families in Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland.

Theatre Hullabaloo & Tees Valley Museum Group, in association with Makers of Imaginary Worlds have developed a magical new playscape, The Wonder Room, which will be open at the Museum of Hartlepool from Wednesday 21st January until 19th April 2026! It’s open Wednesday – Sunday (closed Monday & Tuesday) 

We’re running Messy Music Makers, a fun and interactive session for children aged 0-4 and their primary caregivers. Find out more below!

All of our creative play centres, activities and programmes are inclusive. We can also offer private sessions for families with a parent or child who is neurodivergent, disabled or has additional access and/or educational needs.
