Whatever the Weather – Neurodivergent Friendly Individual Sessions
Explore our wonderful world of weather in smaller, individual groups!
26th September & 21 November
Whatever the Weather invites children, aged 0-7, and their grown-ups to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of weather, sparking curiosity and imagination together through sensory play, theatrical elements and sound journeys – dance in a snow storm, wear a cloud, build an ice castle, bask in the sun and discover other surprises along the way. This new play experience is led by Linbury Prize finalist designer Rūta Irbīte with dramaturgy by Daniel Naddafy, in collaboration with Theatre Hullabaloo and Unicorn Theatre (London).
Whatever the Weather has been co-designed with young audiences through a series of co-created play sessions with families, run by the Unicorn Theatre’s Creative Hub department and artist researcher and Theatre Hullabaloo PHD student, Lucy Cassidy.
We’re offering families (where at least 1 family member is neurodivergent) the chance to have an exclusive 30 minute session in our Moonbeam Creative Play space (no other families will be in the play space).
A Hullabaloo Host will be on hand at all times to support you in the space. Please note that The Hullabaloo and our café will not be open to the general public during this time.
If you have any questions, you can pop us an email on info@theatrehullabaloo.org.uk and someone from the team will get back to you.
