Bamboozle workshop

Developed over 25 years, The Bamboozle Approach takes the power of theatre to engage children and young people with complex needs and employs a range of techniques to grow their attention, interest and involvement.

Delivered by one of Bamboozle’s lead artists, this day long workshop will introduce teachers and creative practitioners to the approach and techniques the company uses. Whether you are trying to help an individual child with extremely challenging behaviour to stay in a room, work with others and contribute their own ideas; supporting whole families to connect and play together; or seeking to effect attitudes and practice at a whole school level, this day will provide both practical ideas and inspiration. Although the workshop will particularly reference working with children who have learning difficulties, the Bamboozle Approach is equally applicable to non-disabled students.

‘We are continually reminded that when we create an environment that has love, encouragement and opportunity within it, extraordinary achievements are possible for all young people – whatever their abilities and disabilities.’ Christopher Davies Artistic Director, Bamboozle Theatre Company.

Everyone who attends the workshop should see the performance of Storm  at 4.30pm on either Wednesday 03 October or Thursday 04 October. We will contact you direct to book this once you have booked your workshop place.
