4, 6 or 8 legs? Explore what makes a creature identifiable by its features and then use a combination of clay and natural materials to make your very own cute bug.

Join Bright Woods CIC Forest School (the team behind last year’s Happy Hammer Hapa Zome activity at Hullabaloo in the Park) in these bookable sessions to explore what makes a creature identifiable. Do you know your woodlouse from your millipede? Or your spider from your earwig? Does the creature have 4, 6 or more legs?

Bright Woods will be on hand to share their ideas, identification sheets and interesting info about these important creepy crawlies.

We have some Neurodivergent Friendly bookable slots for families who would benefit from smaller numbers in the space and higher Hullabaloo Host ratios.  Neurodivergent Friendly sessions are bookable and will have a lower capacity. These sessions will be available to book in the near future.

Content Warning: natural materials will be used such as sticks and leaves, these can be avoided individually on request.
