The Undiscovered Island: Neurodiverse Friendly Group session

*SOLD OUT*

As part of our commitment to try and meet the needs of all children, we are pleased to offer bookable slots in our Creative Play for families with neurodiverse children and those with additional needs.

Join us on an adventure to The Undiscovered Island.

The Undiscovered Island is a sensory underwater world where children and adults become adventurers exploring story pods, musical stepping stones and a relaxing coral garden. Relax on our sponge coral storytelling chairs, discover ‘coral flowers’ that light up when you speak to them and a peer in a beautifully lit infinity pool.

We’re offering a 1-hour slot on Saturday 11th February from 2.30pm – 3.30pm which enables up to 4 families (where at least 1 child in the family has a neaurodiverse condition) to enjoy an adapted session in The Undiscovered Island Creative Play space. This might mean that the lights and sounds are lowered or that some of the sound effects are more predictable. It might just mean that the session includes groups of people who are familiar, so you can investigate the space in your own time.

A Hullabaloo Host will be on hand at all times to support you in the space.

You can book online or call the Box Office on 01325 405405. We will then contact you prior to your booking to discuss your upcoming visit.

To make a booking online, please select ‘1’. This allows you to bring 1 group of up to 4 people. You will be asked to indicate how many adults and children are in the group and the age of the children attending. Please remember you may be joined by another family with neurodiverse needs. Up to 4 groups in one session.

Please remember that Theatre Hullabaloo is an independent charity, and we have to fundraise to keep Creative Play free for everyone.
If you are able to make a donation, however small, it really does help. You can make a cash or card donation at the venue, and you can also make a donation here https://www.theatrehullabaloo.org.uk/donate
