Play in a Day at The Hullabaloo are fun-packed drama filled days for children to turn a well-known tale into a brilliant new play that they can perform to family and friends at The Hullabaloo.
Play in a Day is a fantastic way to develop confidence, learn new skills and games, be part of a team and make new friends – it’s also a great way to have a lot of fun.
Led by Actor and Storyteller, Chris Connaughton. 10am – 4.30pm (ends with a short performance for family and friends which starts at 4pm)
One day a mysterious stranger turns up at a village which is starving saying that she can feed them all with just a few stones. The village think she must be mad, but can she bring them together to share what little food they each have so they can all eat that night?
This mystical folk tale is a great way for children to develop their ensemble theatre skills with larger and smaller parts available depending on confidence. To take part in a Play in a Day, please wear loose clothing and trainers and bring a packed lunch
