Flip the Switch - Turning on Play, Music, Movement and Joy!

For ages 18 months – 5 years (developmental ages in this range are also appropriate for the session)

An Interactive Performance for Early Years Disabled Children – 1 adult – 1 child per booking. 

After a series of creative workshops, where children and their grown-ups explored play, music, movement, and imagination, Flip the Switch comes to life as a joyful, interactive performance celebrating every child’s creativity and individuality.

Through movement, music, and responsive sensory play, this performance is shaped by the children themselves – their reactions, ideas, and creativity guiding the story as it unfolds.

Witness wonder, discovery, and moments of pure joy, small group sizes to promote a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for all families, suitable for one child and one significant grown-up, no formal SEND diagnosis required to attend.

Children’s voices and responses are at the heart of every moment. This piece is the culmination of workshops led by artists who believe in creativity without limits.

Flip the Switch is more than a performance – it’s a celebration of co-creation, imagination, and connection.

Please note the age restriction is flexible, and if children’s developmental age differs, they are more than welcome at this session.

Access

We have space for wheelchairs in our theatre and like the rest of our venue, it has step free access. When you’re booking your tickets, please select if you require a wheelchair space. The Hullabaloo entrance is accessed at ground level and there is a Changing Places toilet next to our café. We also have an Essential Companion Scheme for eligible adults that need assistance in attending The Hullabaloo with their child, please click here for more info.
