SPRING HAS SPRUNG AT THE HULLABALOO

Theatre Hullabaloo, the children’s arts charity based in Darlington have announced their spring programme for families to enjoy at their award-winning venue, The Hullabaloo, situated on Borough Road.

The youngest audiences aged 6-18 months will be introduced to theatre with a spellbinding  performance, full of captivating images and intriguing sounds in Out of the Blue that includes an opportunity to stay and play too.

There’s lots to do this February half-term for all ages including some toad-ally awesome storytelling sessions with Chris Connaughton, drama-filled Play in 2 Days and some mindful activities including yoga, storytelling and soundscapes in Chill-abaloo – the perfect way to relax and unwind.

Older children aged 4-8 are invited to watch A Square World, a funny and endearing performance looking at the unfairness of being left out in a world designed for everyone else but yourself.

In April, Theatre Hullabaloo and Action Transport Theatre, bring Baba Yaga to the stage, a deliciously dark and funny fairytale for everyone aged 6 years and over.

Miranda Thain, Artistic Producer at Theatre Hullabaloo says “We are busy creating lots of magical things to see and do and the doors of The Hullabaloo will open on 31st January. Our free creative play space will be open to everyone aged 0-9 years and will feature a brand-new installation, Zen Garden. Zen Garden is a collaboration with Green Croft Arts and will feature relaxing soundscapes, sensory play and interactive elements for all to enjoy. We cant wait to welcome you all back through the doors of The Hullabaloo!”
