Theatre Hullabaloo, the children’s theatre company are giving people the opportunity to volunteer at their award winning venue, The Hullabaloo, based on Darlington’s Borough Road.
GIVE THE GIFT OF TIME WITH THEATRE HULLABALOO
Adults aged 16 and over are invited to apply to Theatre Hullabaloo to support the programme of events and activities at The Hullabaloo throughout the year.
As a volunteer will be working alongside families that visit The Hullabaloo, supporting their visit, duties can include meeting and greeting families, preparing and supporting craft activities, collecting feedback from audiences and assisting with larger scale activities both in the building and in the local community.
Volunteers can specify during the application process the kind of activities they are interested in assisting with and in return you will have the opportunity to watch world-class theatre for children and young people, assistance with professional and personal development and the opportunity to gain real transferable skills that may help with future employment.
Miranda Thain, Artistic Director at Theatre Hullabaloo says “we are looking for a small pool of volunteers to assist with activities at The Hullabaloo throughout the year. This volunteering work will have a great impact on our audiences and is a vital support function to the work of Theatre Hullabaloo”
